rounding
apvalinimas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Operacija arba funkcija skaičiaus trupmeninei daliai sutrumpinti atmetant tam tikrą jo skilčių skaičių ir, jeigu pirmoji (vyriausioji) atmetama skaičiaus skiltis ne mažesnė kaip 5, vienetu padidinti paskutinę (dešiniausią) dar likusią skaičiaus skiltį. Pavyzdžiui, skaičius 3,3333 po apvalinimo iki sveikųjų skaičių tampa 3, o jeigu apvalinama paliekant vieną skiltį po kablelio, tampa 3,3. Skaičius 6,6666 atitinkamai tampa 7 arba 6,7. Naudojamas matematinėse rengyklėse, ↑skaičiuoklėse, programavimo kalbose. Apvalinimas gali iškreipti aritmetinių operacijų rezultatus. Pavyzdžiui, atlikę operaciją 3,333 + 3,333 = 6,666, o po to visus skaičius suapvalinę iki sveikųjų gausime 3 + 3 = 7. atitikmenys: angl. round; rounding ryšiai: dar žiūrėkskaičiuoklė palyginkatmetimas susijęs terminasapvalinimo paklaida
